Blooie's Roadhouse Bar & Grill:

This is me talking to you again.

First and foremost, let me get sidetracked and tell another thing with total no relevance to Blooie's Bar & grill.

My 2 and a half week holiday has began as for this moment. Let me repeat and put emphasis where emphasis is due - 2 AND A HALF WEEK HOLIDAY!! you dont know but i have been looking forward to this day since the very first day of this semester.

okay so back to the original story. Sunday 10December2006, which was exactly 1 week ago, was a evening at Blooie's with the nice people. A nice traditional get-together.

Baby picked me up from home in the afternoon and off it was to Cathy Orchard for 'Trust the Man'. I think the show is almost stupid and the popcorn is salted like anything. For the first time ever, we actually had half a packet left by the end of the movie.

And since there were so much time left before we had to meet up with the rest at 7.30pm, we both decided to check out Kent Ridge Park, perhaps a stroll through the park to commune with dear mother nature. Something like that:

and! off we were to Blooie's. I dont know why the name but yae, Blooie's. In case anyone wanted to know, its located at 21 Science Park, #01-01 The Aquarius. A very nice place to just let loose and chill out.

As usual, Mandy's the latest. But we forgive you since you sweetly arranged for the surprise.

There were 6 of us that evening. Gabriel and i. Gilda and Qiguang, aka handsome tang. Mandy and Ben.

our table was situated right next to the huge projector screen which played the ESPN channel the entire while. So you could just imagine the boys' heads turning up every once awhile, tryin to catch a glimpse of whats happening. Balls are to men what purses are to the ladies. So we cannot really blame them can we?

Mandy got me my Jim Thompson purse, along with lots of love. Gorgeous! A pre christmas surprise before she leaves for New Zealand. i happen to like it alot. it appeals to my most basic instincts. We'll miss you la sng. BRING BACK GIFTS HOR.

That sunday has most defintitely been different and i enjoyed it alot. Great music, good food, more so with the good company of the friends and the boyfriend. Ive said this once and i'll gladly say it again, friends are the ultimate fairy god mothers. More of such to come, more of such to come for sure.

december hits:

Gene Gabriel Recaido Santos is a 20-year-old boy whose birthday happens to fall on the same day as my best friend, tim ang. its nothing to cheer about because this only means ive got to start spening more money come the 31st of december. Speaking of which. tim, you better meet me soon. Okay this is besides the point. the main character here is Gabriel.

so this fellow came over to mine early this morning. he made a hugh mess outta my room and i had to clean up after him. he threw any stuff of mine that sore his eyes into my waste paper basket. he made me whine 1894851times before he was finally willing to follow me to the prata house to curb my hunger pangs. he then proceeded to finish my last few sips of milo peng when i desperately needed a drink because my bee hoon goreng was farking spicy.

as much as you hate it, im really glad u cut your hair.

3december2006;sunday: jolinlee is finally back from hongkong after a long 3 months. she's became, erm, relatively loud now. not that she wasnt loud before but she's even louder now if you get what i mean. like how when she tries to hold a conversation with you at Topshop and some stranger who is prolly half deaf can actually hear her loud and clear from Topman one level below. No exaggeration please. oh, and check out the hair will you. Not once has she failed to amaze me:

we met this fellow in town. its been a while.

we shopped for a very practical gift for the love. we attempted to trim our brows. had old chang kee in the most unglam enviroment. were then interupted by this lady whom forced the sex talk on us but eventually left because of evelyn's one stupid comment and finally a call from qb, who happens to be jix's frien, and off we were to pasir ris.

so it was all meant to be a surprise birthday party for jix. credits to qb. the 3 of us got there early. we did the set-up, with colored light sticks and all. lit up the candles on her cake, switched off the lights and waited for her friends and her to arrive. of course, while waiting, we proceeded to have a little fun ourselves:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHIN JIXIANG. it was a good 6-year relationship. we love you like anything.

9december2006;saturday: celebrated granny's 81st. the whole family came together for dinner at the most cheena restaurant you could ever imagine. the last i remebered, she was only 76 years old. funny how time seem to pass so friggin fast sometimes.

while everyone else went for ktv session, jared and i headed home. waited for gabriel to pick us up and off we were to ang mo kio's newest and largest McDonald outlet for supper.

im not exactly lookin forward to christmas this year because not only robert&aileen, but aparently most of the other family members as well, are goona be out of town. the josephs are leaving for taiwan. the kohs to korean. and half the leongs to china. half meaning daddy and mummy are leaving without jared and i. so no get-toegther this year. no annual party this year.

then again, no reason for me to complain when i will be gettin the car ALL TO MYSELF. and besides, baby and i, we've made plans for the hols. =)
